Viniyoga is a  adaptive style of yoga that is particularly well-suited for anyone including seniors. The synchronization of breath and movement is a central aspect of Viniyoga. This practice involve conscious and coordinated breathing (pranayama) with specific movements, creating a link between the breath, body, and mind. The sequencing is designed to achieve specific therapeutic or developmental goals such as improving balance, strengthening core muscles, or reducing stress and anxiety. This practice involve adapting traditional yoga postures, using props for support, or modifying the intensity and duration of pose depending on each practitioners level of comfort.
