Mahad Lao-Tzu Yoga is a unique practice rooted in the ancient teachings of Lao Tzu who lived over 2,500 years ago. This practice embodies the essence of TAO—living in harmony with the natural flow of life, known as "The Way." At our studio, we’ve developed this special approach by integrating elements of Qigong with the physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditative focus of yoga.
Having taught Tai Chi, QiGong and Yoga, and through my own journey, I realized that both yoga and Qigong are profound gifts to the world. Each offers its own beauty and wisdom, and I found that my personal practice felt incomplete without both. It is this realization and my beautiful daughter inspired me to create Mahad Lao-Tzu Yoga—a harmonious blend that I am now excited to share with you.
In this practice, you will experience the gentle flow and alignment principles of Iyengar Yoga combined with the energy cultivation techniques of Qigong. The primary goal is to preserve, cultivate, and balance internal energy (Qi) and master the THE ART OF NOT TRYING!
