
Play & Pose is a gentle, grounding yoga class where mamas get to practice with their babies, not around them.
We flow slowly, breathe deeply, and pause often. Babies can wiggle, roll, crawl, babble, nurse, nap, cry—it’s all welcome. This is not about perfect poses. It’s about rebuilding strength, reconnecting to your body, and regulating your nervous system while your baby stays close.
From an Ayurvedic lens, this class is deeply Vata-soothing: slow pace, floor-based postures, warmth, repetition, and plenty of pauses. From a TCM perspective, we focus on grounding the Kidney and Spleen energy—supporting postpartum recovery, stability, and depleted reserves.
Expect:
Gentle postnatal-safe yoga (core, hips, back, shoulders)
Baby-inclusive poses + moments of free play
Breathwork to calm overstimulation
Time to just be—no rushing, no fixing, no pressure
This class honors the ancient truth: healing happens in community, on the floor, with breath—and sometimes with a baby on your chest.
