LVL 1 Intensity: Low to Moderate - Perfect for Beginners or Those Returning to Yoga
Digestion Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice designed to prepare your body for a Thanksgiving meal. Focused on deep connective tissues like ligaments, tendons, and fascia, this practice involves holding poses passively for 3-5 minutes, allowing for deep stretching and relaxation. The emphasis is on mindful breathing and stillness, helping to activate the body’s digestive system and promote better circulation.
In this session, we use props for comfort and encourage mindfulness to support digestion. The practice improves flexibility, joint mobility, and energy flow, while balancing the body’s meridians and fostering a sense of patience and self-acceptance. Digestion Yin Yoga complements more active styles, offering a peaceful foundation to help prepare the body for the upcoming meal with a balanced, calm mind.
Reservations close one hour before practice. Feel free to reach out via email or text if you have any questions or need to register after the cutoff time.
